What is the benefit of the ClassLink integration ?

The True Progress ClassLink integration allows students to spend more time learning and less time logging in. It saves school administrators from manually uploading student and staff rosters and having to adjust them throughout the year.

ClassLink offers single sign-on for students and staff. Users open the ClassLink launchpad where they can click the True Progress logo to directly access the application without having to enter any accounts numbers, usernames or passwords. Students can even wave their QuickCard in front of the computer or tablet camera and easily access their LaunchPad. Or, students can look at the device camera to sign in with their face.

The ClassLink Roster Server means you no longer need to import CSV roster files to create and maintain student and staff accounts. ClassLink is the connection between your student information system and True Progress (and all your student apps). Configure your student and staff rosters in your student information system. ClassLink automatically syncs this information with True Progress.

Steps for ClassLink integration

The steps for activating the ClassLink and True Progress integration are simple.

Your first step is to add True Progress through the ClassLink app. True Progress uses OAuth2 configuration for single sign-on. Email support@trueprogress.com and let us know that you have enable True Progress on your ClassLink app. We will activate the sync and after a few minutes you will be able to sign in to True Progress to confirm

Support for ClassLink integration

You have three sources of support for the ClassLink integration with True Progress.

  1. We provide online and phone support to all of our schools and districts. You can find our knowledge base here. And you can contact us here. Once you activate your ClassLink integration, True Progress will be displaying the student and staff rosters as they are configured in ClassLink. We sync everyday with ClassLink at 4:00 AM eastern time. If you need a sync on-demand you can request one by sending an email to support@trueprogress.com
  2. ClassLink also supports its schools and districts with online and phone support. You can access the ClassLink knowledge base here (https://help.classlink.com/s/). You can contact ClassLink here (https://help.classlink.com/s/technical-support).
  3. The third element of the integration is your student information system (SIS). You will send over your student and staff rosters to ClassLink who will then pass them on to True Progress. Some issues may need to be resolved with the help of your SIS provider and you can contact them directly.
